This intimate continuing education workshop takes participants on a journey of discovery as we explore advanced skills that may be utilized in child-centered play therapy sessions. Learners will take part in interactive lectures, group discussions and experiential activities as they learn how to set limits, utilize advanced therapeutic play skills and learn ways to empower their play therapy clients.
Upon completion of this training, attendees will have the skills to face a variety of challenges that may arise in child-centered play therapy sessions. Participants are limited to 12. Training will be live and in-person only.

Learning Objectives:
Upon completion of this workshop, participants will be able to:
- Demonstrate therapeutic limit setting in the Child-centered play therapy session
- List therapeutic skills that are utilized in Child-centered play therapy sessions
- Discuss challenges that arise in Child-centered play therapy sessions
This course will satisfy the following hours required when working towards the RPT credential:
Play Therapy Skills and Methods – Three (3) hours
CE Credit Hours: 3 CE Credit Hours will be awarded upon completion of this workshop. Joyful Hearts Training Center, LLC is an APT Approved Provider (#24-725). Joyful Hearts Training Center, LLC is solely responsible for all aspects of this workshop.
