Joyful Hearts Training Center, LLC  – Conflict of Interest Policy

At Joyful Hearts Training Center, LLC, we believe meaningful learning happens in environments grounded in trust, integrity, and care. As part of this commitment, we take steps to recognize, disclose, and address any potential conflicts of interest in the planning, promotion, delivery, and evaluation of our continuing education programs.

Consistent with the standards of the Association for Play Therapy (APT), a conflict of interest may arise when someone involved in a training has personal, professional, financial, legal, or other interests that could influence, or appear to influence, their judgment or role. We are committed to minimizing bias while fostering transparency and confidence in the learning experiences we provide.

All individuals presenting on behalf of Joyful Hearts Training Center, LLC are required to disclose any potential conflicts of interest related to content selection, material development, teaching, or evaluation. Disclosures are reviewed to determine appropriate next steps, including whether continued participation in the training is appropriate.

The Continuing Education Program Administrator, Amy Drury, is responsible for reviewing all disclosures and ensuring that any identified conflicts are appropriately managed. When necessary, steps will be taken to ensure that all programs remain fair, balanced, and aligned with professional standards.

Through these practices, we remain committed to offering continuing education that is ethical, transparent, and supportive of genuine connection and professional growth.
